Textile structure and flame resistance

The material foundation of the UBAS V3 FIGHTER GEN 2 is built on a NyCo RipStop weave combining 50% nylon and 50% cotton, a recognised mil-spec standard for its balance between durability, breathability and tear propagation resistance. The torso features a 100% "flame retardant" construction compliant with the EN ISO 14116 :2015 standard, providing certified protection when exposure to flames is an operational reality. This material combination maintains optimal comfort, enhanced protection and proven resilience.

From collar to elbows : ergonomics and integrated protection

The collar of the UBAS V3 FIGHTER GEN 2 incorporates a 2 mm micro-perforated foam padding, lined with a Soft Touch coating that reduces friction and pressure points caused by prolonged carry of the service weapon via its tactical sling. This design reflects an approach centred on operational endurance, where every detail contributes to preserving the combatant over time.
Dedicated compartments accommodate D3O elbow pads (sold separately), accessed through external zipped openings and adjusted via hook-and-loop fastening for a precise fit regardless of body shape. A quick-access zipped watch pocket, complemented by a dial protection strap, allows rapid consultation without unnecessary handling.

Stability and support in motion

The lower section of the UBAS V3 FIGHTER GEN 2 is finished with a hem fitted with a silicone non-slip band. This system prevents the garment from riding up during dynamic phases.
